Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: First British Pow’s Freed. DESCRIPTION: Korea. SHOTLIST: Cut story - KS. Prisoners in close-up. At Pusan, UN ambulances alongside landing craft disembarking Red prisoners. In transit camp, Red prisoners start chanting & singing Red songs, insults etc. At Panmunjom, Red POWs., transferred from train to ambulances. Convoy of ambulances crossing bridge over river, into camera. SCU Freedom Village name, contingent of UN prisoners arrive met by General Mark Clark. Turkish soldiers embracing another soldier. Stretcher cases being carried to helicopters. Strapped to same, helicopter takes off, several shots. SCU two British prisoners, Trooper O’Donnell & Lance Corporal Hunt.
