Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Mice Reactions in Rocket. DESCRIPTION: From the White Sands Proving Grounds New Mexico, scientists aiming to find out what will happen when humans venture into outer space, have been using mice and a drugged monkey for the round trip. A Rocket which takes them up returns to earth with its passengers intact, but rather hungry. SHOTLIST: Cut story - KS. CU Rocket. Equipment - camera etc. being placed in rocket. Mice placed inside also monkey. Men at controls set off rocket. GV rocket being fired. Cut-in of mice in cylindrical container running round. Ball also remains on side of cylinder. Rocket being investigated after dropping to earth by parachute. Mice very alive, also monkey, eating like mad.
