DESCRIPTION: St James’s Palace was the meeting place of the newly appointed Coronation Commission, presided over by the Duke of Edinburgh; he was received by the Duke of Norfolk. Other members included the Prime Minister, Mr Eden, the Home Secretary, Mr Attlee and the Archbishop of Canterbury. SHOTLIST: Cut story - KS. GV palace.
