DESCRIPTION: There was a wild rush to search for a needle in a haystack on a bomb site near St Paul’s, it was found by Nurse Rhoda Selby of Bart’s and the prize of a sewing machine was handed to her by actress Dorothy Dickson. Crowds rush & start to search among the haystack, various shots of them being covered with hay etc. Women with needle in hand, almost covered in hay.
