MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Remembrance Day - Cenotaph. DESCRIPTION: This year’s Remembrance Day Service at the Cenotaph in Whitehall was attended by even larger crowds than usual. With members of the Government and Mr Attlee beside him, the Prime Minister waited with his wreath. The Queen, with Queen Mary and members of the family, watched from the Home Office. The Duke of Gloucester, deputising for the King, led the Nation’s solemn tribute. SHOTLIST: Cut story - KS. Elevated GV looking down Whitehall at crowds & crowds & Cenotaph.
