MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Royal Film Performance. DESCRIPTION: Arriving at the Odeon, Leicester Square, for the Royal Film Performance, the Queen came with Princess Margaret, followed by other members of her Family. Her Majesty was received in turn by Mr Reginald Bromhead, President of the CTBF, Mr Robert Wolff, joint Chairman of the Fund, and Mr Rank. After that a galaxy of screen favourites, presented by Ben Lyon. SHOTLIST: Cut story - KS. Night material - GV Odeon Theatre lit up, Where No Vultures Fly. Queen & Princess Margaret out of car. Crowds cheering. Inside foyer, Queen & Princess Margaret enter, greeted by Reginald Bromhead. Shakes hands with Robert Wolff. Queen shakes hands with J Arthur Rank. Queen, Princess Margaret, Duchess of Kent, & Duchess of Gloucester, walk up stairs. Queen talks (silent) to Ben Lyon, who steps out of line & introduces stars. Queen & Dinah Sheridan. CU Sheridan. William Simons presents bouquet to Queen. Jeremy Handley presents bouquet to Princess Margaret. Royal party walk towards stairs indicating circle. Inside theatre, Royal Party taking their seats.
