MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Attlee at Scarborough. Labour Party Conference. DESCRIPTION: Scarborough, although it will not now receive the Conservatives as well, has been the scene of the Labour Party’s pre-election Conference. The Prime Minister and his wife were escorted to the Conference by Mr Morgan Phillips, the General Secretary. SHOTLIST: Cut story - KS. Elevated GV Scarborough. GV beach with conference hall in background. Queues of delegates entering hall. Mr & Mrs Attlee walk to hall accompanied by Morgan Phillips.
