MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Goodwood - Stewards’ Cup. DESCRIPTION: A large crowd were at Goodwood for the Stewards’ Cup and they saw a thrilling finish to the six furlong sprint. A photo-finish gave Sugar Bowl victory over Spartan Sacrifice by a head. SHOTLIST: Cut story - KS. Crowd shot. Crowd shots at Goodwood. Various angle shots of the course. Shots of Trundle Hill. Elevated MS paddock. Start of race, trucking shot with horses. Various shots during the race. Sugar Bowl & Spartan Sacrifice finish almost dead-heat, but Sugar Bowl wins by a short head. Cut-ins of crowds during race. Just before race, arrival of Princess Margaret. 6 furlong sprint.
