Elevated MS crowds in stands. Elevated GV crowds on course. Horses parade round. Interior - jockeys with harness being weighted, McMorrow, Jimmy Power, Tim Moloney. Exterior - parade, jockeys mount, and ride round paddock. Horses going to the starting gate. Out of camera, horses at gate & off. Into camera & SV horses over first jump, many falls. Repeat in slow motion. Out of camera other horses race on. Over several jumps & falls. Becher’s Brook, Arctic Gold with grey mare Caesar’s Wife lead field, Morning Cover falls. Canal Turn, Arctic Gold falls & several more. Valentines - Caesar’s Wife falls. Russian Hero leads field with Nickel Coin. Panning shot of field with loose horses careering in front of other horses. Riderless horses refusing jumps. Russian Hero falls at Chair jump. Gay Heather leads field with Nickel Coin. Royal Tan, Derinstown, & Bloomfield, the above take the 17th jump. Camera speeded up as horses jump over Becher’s Brook, slowing horses down. Power & Curran remount Gay Heather & Derrinstown. Nicken Coin & Royal Tan over Becher’s. Canal Turn, Nickel Coin in lead. Valentines, into camera (remote control) Nickel Coin & Royal Tan over. Royal Tan takes lead at penultimate fence. Royal Tan stumbles over last fence. Run-in Nickel Coin takes lead & wins by six lengths. Bullock rides winner in, fallen jockeys shake hands with Bullock. Mr Royle leads in winner. SCU Nickel Coin & Joy Wells, the stable girl.
