Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Glasgow Students’ Rag (Mute). DESCRIPTION: A parade through the streets of glasgow and a collection raised money for charity. SHOTLIST: Cut story - KS. MS trucking - Lorries decorated on side of road. MS SCU Queen boards carriage, SCU seated in open carriage. Trucking shot from carriage passing under archway. Ditto shot passing along street, crowds line same. Pipers march along street. Carriage arrives at City Chambers, Queen - Margaret Hunter, alights greeted by Mr Victor Warren - Lord Provost. Various shots procession passing along street, cut-ins Lord Provost & Queen watch same from steps of Chambers. SCU person wears uniform with large Z on same. Other students have friendly scrap in road. People collect money for Charities week from the crowd lining the streets.
