Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Sydney Disasters for MCC Tourists. DESCRIPTION: Pictures of the second day’s play in the Third Test show the last of England’s first innings in which Brown made 79, helping to make the total of 290. Soon after the Australians started their innings, Bedser took Morris’s wicket for a duck, but the rest of the side took the total to 426. TATTERSALL & STATHAM DEPART - To re-enforce England’s three-man attack, the two new bowlers, Roy Tattersall and Brian Statham (both of Lancashire) left by air from London Airport.
