- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Winter Sports Hazards. DESCRIPTION: At Alpe d’Huez an International Ski contest has been held, and our pictures show the slalom competition in progress. At Garmisch-Partenkirchen - the first international bob-sleigh race of the season. SHOTLIST: Cut story - KS. MS person starting descent in slalom. Various shots of competitors making their descent in the slalom race, some falling over. Cut-in crowds watching. Competitor finishing & falling over after passing winning line. At Garmisch, Partenkirchen. Bob-sleigh contest. Several shots of sleighs speeding along the run. Swedish team prepare to start, leader puts on crash helmet, leader seated at driving wheel. Several shots of the start & on run. Sleigh crashes over top of snow. Several shots of wrecked sleigh, with crew standing around, leader put on sleigh in background, killed.
