DESCRIPTION: The Royal Film Performance naturally drew large crowds to Leicester Square; rain or no rain, they intended to see all they could of the arrival of the Royal Family and of the many guests and stars attending. SHOTLIST: KS. Exterior of Empire, same in lights outside, with crowds climbing up to see arrivals. Several shots of crowds (at night) in the rain. Inside foyer, arrivals of Lewis Douglas, pan to Sharman Douglas & Lord Blandford. Gloria Swanson & daughter. James Stewart & family (with his wife and step sons Ronald & Michael).
