Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Korea - the Tide Turns. DESCRIPTION: One of Movietone’s cameramen flew with a recent mission carrying supplies to a United Nations battalion surrounded by the enemy. B29’s bomb a North Korean war plant at Chinnampo. With the United Nations going over to the offensive, leaflets come into the picture. SHOTLIST: KS. Aerial of plane in flight over enemy country (troop-carrier). Aerial of troop carrier planes carrying supplies to ambushed battalion. From inside one of the planes, ammunition, food, etc. being thrown out & dropping by parachute. Formations of B29s (aerial), enemy territory below. Bombs falling on war plant at Chinnampo. Aerial of precision bombing on plant. Thousands of leaflets being dropped from planes on enemy territory (propaganda). Shots from inside plane.
