Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Aged Bluebird to Try Again. DESCRIPTION: At Lake Coniston, Donald Campbell tried again in Bluebird, but the engine blew up and was ruined beyond repair. However, Bluebird does not admit defeat easily, and with a reserve engine fitted Donald will have another try. SHOTLIST: KS. CU Bluebird engines sparking. Campbell making his first run, panning shot - very good. Return run - panning shot. Bluebird turns into camera. Campbell & mechanics walk towards camera along quay. Campbell speaks into mike on the subject to getting finances for a new engine.
