Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: London’s First Ski Meet. DESCRIPTION: Ski-jumping on Hampstead Heath - that’s certainly news. Tons of the very best Norwegian snow had to be imported and spread over the newly-built runway. SHOTLIST: KS. MS Union Jack & Norwegian flags flying together. Line of Norwegian skiing team includes 13 year old boy. Team shovelling out snow from cases. In baskets being transported to top of run. Small boy makes small run. GV of ski-run. GV crowds - thousands - at meeting. Various shots of jumping, including falls taken from all angles. Into camera shots of skiers into haystacks & completely buried in same being dug out.
