MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Malta’s Tribute to His Majesty. DESCRIPTION: The 13,000 ton light fleet aircraft carrier Glory was the central point of Malta’s tribute to the King on his birthday. Princess Elizabeth boarded the carrier accompanied by Sir Arthur Power, C-in-C, Mediterranean. SHOTLIST: KS. MS "Glory" aircraft carrier at anchor in Valletta harbour. GV harbour. Several shots of "Glory". Firing royal salute, Princess approaches in royal barge. With Sir Arthur Power, the Royal Party come up to flight deck on lift. "The King" is played as lift reaches flight deck. Princess inspects crew & other naval representatives from all ships in Grand Harbour. GVs of Grand Harbour.
