MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Desert Comrades Meet Again. DESCRIPTION: At the Empress Hall, Earls Court, the 4th Alamein Reunion was held. After the ceremony of pinning the 8th Army medal ribbon on the Union Jack, Field Marshal Lord Montgomery and Mr Churchill addressed the gathering of some nine thousand. SHOTLIST: KS. GV interior of crowds. Shots displaying 8th Army emblems etc. Groups of soldiers in civilian clothing "getting together" at chatting. 8th emblem attached to Union Jack in centre of arena. Monty addresses ex-service men. Monty walks off stage to greet Mr Churchill. Churchill addresses crowds. Great cheering.
