Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: International Horse Show - White City. DESCRIPTION: At White City, Miss Iris Kellett from Ireland won the Princess Elizabeth Cup. A parade of Nations opened the following day, with Prince Bernhard of the Netherlands leading the Dutch team round the arena. Brian Butler of Great Britain won the King George V Cup, making the complete circuit on two different horses. SHOTLIST: KS. GV arena. Cartoon - (Ridley) Horse crossing its legs seated on cart, driver in between shafts pulling along. GV arena. Iris Kellett inspects jumps. Kellett riding "Rusty" in Princess Elizabeth Cup. Kellett receives Cup - the winner. CU ditto. GV parade of horses & competitors, before King George V Cup. Prince Bernhard precedes the Netherlands Team around arena. Brian Butler competing completes course without a fault. Queen & Butler together, Butler holds trophy (King George V Gold International Challenge Cup - incidentally it is a trophy).
