MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Test Shocks at the Oval - Last Test Match. England All Out for 52. DESCRIPTION: England collapse to their lowest ever Test score of 52 all out. There was a shock too for Don Bradman, playing in perhaps his last Test, out for a duck second ball. SHOTLIST: KS GV Oval Cricket Ground. Don Bradman & Norman Yardley inspect wicket. GV crowds. GV play in progress. Dewes walking off - out. SCU of the following walking off, Bill Edrich, Denis Compton. Crapp, Yardley, Watkins, Godfrey Evans, Alec Bedser. MS Ray Lindwall clean bowls Young. Young walks off. GV scoreboard. Over shoulder shot, person reading newspaper. England fielding. GV The Oval, gas holder in background. Bradman comes in to bat. England gives Bradman a cheer on field. SCU Hollies bowls, cut to Bradman batting. SCU Hollies bowling & cut to Bradman clean bowled. Bradman walks off field, amid loud applause (his last appearance in this country in test cricket). Crowds cheering.
