MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: King’s Colour for the RAF. DESCRIPTION: Their Majesties and Princess Margaret recently visited Cranwell, where the King presented the first King’s Colour to ever be borne by the Royal Air Force. SHOTLIST: KS GV parade on aerodrome. Group shot - King, Queen & Princess Margaret. Three walk along to places. King shakes hands with Lord Trenchard. MS dais shows Royal family, also Lord Tedder. King presents new colour to RAF, places same in holder. Colour bearer turns smartly & slow marches off. Elevated shot of parade. MS King addressing the parade, speaks of the importance of the colour. RAF slow marching, orders being shouted, above noised of the music. Cut-in of King saluting. Finish on RAF marching.
