MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: New Look Hat Fashions. DESCRIPTION: To go with the New Look in clothes, hats designed by Gertrude Harris. SHOTLIST: KS SCU girl mannequin looks into mirror at herself. CU pen sketching hat. Next scenes consist of SCU hat being modelled, made up etc, pinned together placed on model, on mannequin, with quick fades between each scene. Various close ups of mannequins wearing New Look hats. Tilt up of mannequin, who is wearing new length skirt to her hat, cut-ins of hand turning over page to another hat style. Finishing on mannequin wearing hat looking into mirror, you see she in wearing New Look skirt length.
