MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Mary Pickford Visits Home Town. DESCRIPTION: Mary Pickford recently visited Ottawa and then travelled onto the city of her birth Toronto. SHOTLIST: KS Crowds in streets. Mary Pickford alights in white fur coat, followed by Mackenzie King also wearing fur coat and hat. SCU of both. Mary Pickford curtsies to Lord Alexander and Lady Alexander. SCU of Mary Pickford shaking hands with Lord Alexander, Lady Alexander looks on. The above is at Ottawa. At Toronto Mary Pickford lifted by two policemen so that she can see over wall. GV of demolished area (where she used to live). SCU and MS of her looking over wall, turning towards camera.
