- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Surfing. DESCRIPTION: It was pretty rough for this years Maroubra Surf Carnival. SHOTLIST: KS GV people on rocks, rocks in fore with sea breaking over same. Several shots lifeboats trying to break through the heavy surf. Normal speed and slow motion. CU slow motion of surf, swimmers fighting to keep above water in same and ‘riding’ on the great waves, all eventually fall off. Slow motion - some try standing and fall off - very good material, especially close ups of slow moving surf. Surfboarder falls off, the board flies through air and crashes into sea.
