DESCRIPTION: Billy Thompson trains at a Butlin’s Holiday Camp whilst Stan Hawthorne trains in North Shields under the watchful eye of his mother and sister. SHOTLIST: KS Billy Thompson and trainer Mr Gutteridge run over rough country, camera pans with them, running down steps into Butlin’s Holiday Camp. Several close ups of Thompson shadow boxing. Inside dining room, Thompson eating steak. GVs of him in ring with sparring partner - in action. CU Thompson coming to ropes towards camera. SLIP PAN At North Shields Stanley Hawthorne out of his house jumps over front gate and running along roads, trucking shots of him, runs towards camera. In his back garden, Hawthorne hitting punchbag, several close ups. His mother and sister look out of window in background. Hawthorne gardening - hoeing.
