MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Jersey International Car Race. DESCRIPTION: Reg Parnell was the winner of the International Car Race through the streets of St Helier, Jersey. SHOTLIST: KS GV cars in the pits. Shots of cars preparing for the start, Shows B Bira and Raymond Mays. Cars at starting line and off. Various shots of cars racing around circuit, with cut-ins of crowds watching. Louis Chiron (No 1) in a Maserati speeds past, followed by Raymond Mays (No 11) in ERA. Reg Parnell comes up the finishing straight, passing chequered flag. MS Sir Arthur Grassett presenting laurels to Parnell, shot of Parnell with laurels round his neck. Parnell drove a Maserati.
