Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Magicians Make Mystery. DESCRIPTION: The audience at the recent Magicians’ Convention at Hereford were treated to a first-class entertainment of magic and mystery. SHOTLIST: CUT STORY: KS Conjurer fans pack of playing cards. CU Stanley Thomas with puppet, former fans playing cards and puppet picks out a card required by his master. SV MS Geoffrey Robinson, catches fire to metal container, places lid on same, takes it off again and produces a chicken. Elizabeth performs track, defying laws of gravity, with three glasses. Exterior shots - Lenz, Oriental Mystic says a few words into mike first about Jogi. Walks across pathway of burning embers. SCU of his feet afterwards. Kids walk across glowing embers. Lenz skewers himself with stilettos and hatpins, in his cheeks, arms, etc., audience having close look at him with hatpins etc., sticking out of him. Cut-ins of audience applauding.
