Career
Eddie Smales was a Movietone cameraman whose first credit is for ‘BRITAIN’S FIRST POST-WAR EASTER’ in British Movietone News No.881A of April 1946. In June 1946 Smales covered the Victory Parade for ‘VICTORY DAY’ in No.888, and in November 1947 he was a roving cameraman in the team that filmed ‘THE ROYAL WEDDING’ for No.964. His last credit is for ‘F. A. CUP 4TH ROUND - THE GIANT KILLERS WIN AGAIN’ in No.973A of January 1948.
