- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Derby County Win Cup Final (4 - 1). DESCRIPTION: At full time the score was 1-1, but in extra time Derby scored twice to become the FA Cup winners 1946. SHOTLIST: CUT STORY: KS Library - Exterior shot of stadium with crowds thronging towards same. Elevated shot of crowds towards stadium. Vendors sell fancies. Inside stadium. GV crowds awaiting match. Teams led onto field. Arrival of the King, National Anthem played. SCU King during playing of Anthem. Introduced to teams, Derby first. Charlton second. CU back view of players as King shakes hands with them. ED Smith - referee - call captains Jack Nicholas and Don Welsh. Latter tosses coin and calls, winning toss. Derby kick-off. Eaves shot of play. Charlton attacking. Corner kick taken. Carter of Derby makes run down field with ball. Good shot of late tackle brining down Charlton player. Carter puts ball into Charlton goal, but he is offside. Slow motion shots of Bartram making some spectacular saves. Kick-off at beginning of extra time. Derby kick-off. Derby attacking, Doherty scores for Derby, in slow motion. Charlton kick-off half extra time. Stamps again scores for Derby, in slow motion. Teams walk off pitch at end. Nicholas goes up to get Cup, presented by King, while Queen presents medals to teams. Nicholas walk down steps on field with Cup, people touch same. Nicholas "chaired" across pitch. Standing in front of mike, he thanks everybody concerned.
