MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Royal Visit to Wales - Special. SHOTLIST: Cut story - KS. Cardiff Railway Station pan from top to entrance where King & Queen are standing, King in naval uniform. Inspects Guard of Honour consisting of RAF, Marines & Welsh Guards. At Pengram, boy apprentices at work on house, King & Queen speak to several. GV of house being built. Cars draw along Cardiff City Hall, King & Queen alight, the Lord Mayor (Alderman Willis) greet them, hands them bound book. Royal car arrives at Llandarcy Oil Refineries, GVs of same. Workers cheer King & Queen as they pass. King & Queen at Fforestfach Trading Estate. King digs up first turf. King looks at plans of the estate. Royal Party arrive at Swansea, inspect Welsh Guards.
