Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Hun Prisoners How the Might Have Fallen. DESCRIPTION: Near Cassel in Germany several prominent Nazis are awaiting trial. The prisoners pass the time by using their hands to make playing cards and doing carpentry. SHOTLIST: KS Nazi officers in SS uniforms. SCU and CU Otto Abetz, also being led into prison, passes through gates, which close behind him. Elevated LS of prison camp, in fore Yanky machine gun at the ready. German officers exercising. CU von Schuler, wearing monocle, reading book. Unnamed officer seated on bunk. SCU and CU of Field Marshals Wilhelm von Leeb and Wilhelm von Lizt, playing cards. Writings (Allied) on walls. Nazi officers parading through camp. Outside, two officers play chess. SCU and CU General Major Hans Henrici doing his own washing, hanging same on line. Others doing carpentry, sawing wood pulling nails out of woof. Admiral Mathies making wooden cabinet. General Major Hans Fritzlaff constructing woodwork. General Major Erich Fiedler carving pair of wooden shoes. General Lieutenant Fritz Neidholdt darning his socks.
