- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Bourne End Train Smash. DESCRIPTION: When the Perth to Euston Express plunged down an embankment it was carrying some 700 passengers. It took many hours to extricate the casualties and the death roll was estimated to be 40. SHOTLIST: CUT STORY: KS GV of train wreckage. Various shots of train wreckage stacked high, beyond recognition. Various shots of men working to extricate bodies etc. Men using acetylene burners, cranes lifting parts of carriages. Shot of body entangled in twisted ironwork. National Fire Service, American troops assisting in work. Carrying dead body away from scene.
