- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Scenes in Trieste; Tito Parade. DESCRIPTION: SCENES IN TRIESTE - Film just received from Trieste shows quite clearly the display of force made in that city by Marshal Tito’s men. TITO PARADE - In Belgrade the 1st of May was marked by a large parade which was reviewed by Marshal Tito. SHOTLIST: Cut story - KS. Aerial shot of Trieste, and docks. In the Piazza Unita square, parade of Yugoslavian troops. Walking through streets Yugoslavs with weapons, patrols walk through streets, also Yugoslavs off duty still carrying their arms, one with girl on arm. British sailors off duty walk through streets without weapons. Yugoslav sentry, with light machine gun posted at corner of street. In Belgrade, on May 1st marchpast of Army Units (Tito’s) & Children’s Pioneer Corps. Cut-ins of Tito on rostrum (with British, Soviet & American Ambassadors) taking salute. Various shots of marchpast.
