MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Premier Goes to Woodford. DESCRIPTION: Despite the rain a large number of his constituents turned out in Woodford, Essex to see Mr Churchill. SHOTLIST: Cut story - Shots of Churchill’s car arriving at Woodford, Essex, in the rain. Crowds stand round same cheering. Pans of crowds as cut-ins. Churchill stands up acknowledges cheers, & makes an impromptu speech. Speaks about the "caretaker government" etc. Crowds cheering & give three cheers for Churchill to finish.
