MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Dual-Purpose Aircraft Carriers. DESCRIPTION: Pictures have just been released of a small class of Canadian aircraft carriers. Converted from merchant ships they carry both naval planes and cargo. SHOTLIST: Cut story - KS. GV of flight deck, snow on same. Various shots of grain being loaded into hold. Aerial shots of convoy under way. Bi-planes come in to land on deck. Bat-man waves them in. Planes land on deck, decks folded up, & taxi along flight deck.
