MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: China Seas - Admiral Halsey on Japan. DESCRIPTION: Air strikes on Japanese ships at sea or in port, as airfields, harbours and river traffic are being carried out from American aircraft carriers. SHOTLIST: Cut story - Various shots of air action over China Seas, near misses near Jap ships also direct hits, aerial shots shooting up target (river traffic), plane in flight, crash lands on deck of carrier. CU nose hitting deck, pilot knocked unconscious. Pilot assisted out of plane. Map of China, Japan, Formosa, & surrounding countries. US destroyer ploughing through heavy seas (very good) please note. Interior shot of meeting at Washington. CU Admiral Halsey, also answering question "Is the Imperial Palace a military target?" CU of Halsey replying, to finish.
