MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: James Wright & Son at Palace. DESCRIPTION: At a recent Palace Investiture Jim Wright became the first newsreel man to be honoured. His son, Flying Officer James Wright received the DFC. Major Sarbjit Singh Kalha of the First Punjab Regiment received the DSO. SHOTLIST: Cut story - KS Shot of palace, various shots of Jim Wright (Paramount) cameraman & his son James Wright, face badly disfigured, blind also bandages round his face. Major Sarbjit Singh Kalha. CU of him receives DSO. Wing Commander Lionel Cohen. CU of him receives DFC. GS of gunboat flotilla crew who all received the DSM. Pan of same. GS of their medals.
