Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Through the Siegfried Line. DESCRIPTION: American’s advancing into Germany have passed through the anti-tank defences of the Siegfried Line. Many of the forts and pill boxes they over ran have been blown up. One pill box had been carefully camouflaged to look like a mountain chalet. SHOTLIST: Cut story - KS GV Dragons teeth of Siegfried Line. Shermans with troops on, drive through Siegfried Line, followed by artillery. TNT laid to blow up dragons teeth, various shots of explosions. LS Smoke from explosion. Bulldozer pushes earth over pillboxes, another sealing the doors by welding. Yanky inspects same. GV Chateau cum pillbox inspected by Yanks, SCU Rifle slits etc. Chateau situated on hill.
