MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Mr Churchill Home on "Queen Mary". DESCRIPTION: The Premier and Mrs Churchill returned home from Canada aboard the ‘Queen Mary’. On arrival at Euston they received a warm welcome from Cabinet Ministers and friends. SHOTLIST: Cut story - KS. Mr Churchill & Captain of "Queen Mary" on bridge. GV of Churchill off QM onto launch. GV of launch with Churchill on. Mrs Churchill off launch joins Churchill. GV of both standing on launch, various shots as launch pulls away, leaving QM in background. Fade to Euston Station. Cabinet Ministers. Chiefs of Staff gathered. Those who can be picked out in crowds are Sir Alan Brooke, Mr Eden, Mr Winant, Lord Portal, Mr Attlee. Churchill off train, with wife & Mary Churchill. Various shots of Churchill conversing with several people, Mr & Mrs Churchill also Mary get in car which drives off amid waving, etc.
