- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Luftwaffe Tries Reprisals. DESCRIPTION: Recent raids on London have been short and sharp, they cannot be compared with the "Blitz". Damage and casualties are being inflicted but our defences are ever on the alert. SHOTLIST: Cut story - Air raid warning sound. Night-fighters in flight. Various shots of searchlights. ATS girls and gunners on predictors, shots of AA gunfire, all the above at night, silhouette of buildings in fore with glow of fire in background - Library material. Various shots of firemen putting water on smouldering fires. Panning shots of remains of houses, girders etc. Crane clears debris. ARP use sound detector, for finding buried people. Various shots of ARP at work on debris, various shots of ruins, wrecked houses, bomb craters, blast results etc.
