- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Hamburg (Raid On). DESCRIPTION: The second largest city of the Reich, is being liquidated in a series of record attacks by the RAF. The shipyards, responsible for a quarter of their U-Boat production, are being heavily hit. SHOTLIST: Cut story - Dusk shots of Stirlings taking off, into camera, SV etc. LS of formations of Stirlings. Aerial shots of Hamburg at night, shows incendiaries falling in masses, & place well alight. Interior shots of mosaic built up from photos of Hamburg, shows officer (Scott) pointing out various places. Shots of mosaic on wall, & CU of various places badly hit, viz. warehouses, railway trains, marshalling yards, barges, gasworks & pan of same, & Blohm & Voss Plant.
