MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Launching of Aircraft Carrier "Bunker Hill" & Battleship "New Jersey". DESCRIPTION: The Americans mark the 7th December by launching twenty-five ships. Amongst them the aircraft carrier "Bunker Hill" and the 45,000 ton battleship "New Jersey". SHOTLIST: GS of Carrier on runway, & going down same, taking water. GS of battleship & pan, including pan of keel & anchors. Bottle smashed against side & down the runway she goes. Crowds can be seen standing around. Lady (unknown) christened battleship.
