DESCRIPTION: Further and further by night and day the ‘Lancasters’ strike Augsburg, Le Creusot, Milan - so in picture and word let us pay tribute to those who fly them and those who maintain these mighty offensive weapons. SHOTLIST: Tractor pulling Oil Wagon to Lancaster. CU same. Personnel fixing hose to L. CU L. showing one engine. Mechanics working on engines. CU Mechanic. Pan shot front of plane wing-tip to wing-tip, mechanics working on all four engines. RAF personnel walking into camera.
