MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Training WAAF Cooks. DESCRIPTION: Girls are being trained as cooks in the Women’s Auxiliary Air Force. SHOTLIST: 1. Shots inside lecture room followed by shots of cooks learning how to cut-up meat. 2. The pastry cookery class with close-ups of Girls rolling pastry baking, etc. 3. Shot of Dining Room, girls serving airmen with meals. 4. Parade of cooks, which include marching shots and an inspection of hands. The girls wear white overalls. 5. Vegetable Room. Shots of the girls cutting-up cabbage and of potatoes being peeled by a machine. Note - In this room the girls wear clogs. Close-up of feet.
