Summary
Pathe synopsis: Inside a quiet countryhouse deep in Berkshire there’s a strange workshop. Gerald Benney, who designed the altar plate for Coventry Cathedral and gleaming maces for a string of universities, is now fashioning elegant tableware for private use. He’s making exquisite cutlery in stainless steel as well as silver, and pottery to go with it. Sit down to a banquet where every single thing on a glittering table from pepper mill to sugar sifter was fashioned by him, and proudly exhibited by the Worshipful Company of Goldsmiths and Silversmiths.
