Summary
Pathe synopsis: Yes, rain has helped Knaresborough attract thousands of tourists who come to see Old Mother Shipton’s cave. The only one of its kind in the world, mineral water dripping through the roof turns anything to stone. Hung on a line are stone hats, shoes, socks, even a doll that’s been petrified by this amazing process.
