Summary

Pathe synopsis: A transformation from gentleman of the road to gentleman of leisure (a tramp to toff) in a matter of hours, is carved out by the International Union of Masculine Coiffeur (or barbers). Tramp Ted Wellings, picked up after a night on the Embankment, is given the full treatment: shave, moustache trim, manicure, haircut, shampoo and restyle, plus a new set of clothes. This treatment is followed by a lavish dinner at a West End hotel - then out to make a new start.
