Summary
Pathe synopsis: A craftsman of a different sort is Mr Francis Deeks, who is both artist and mechanic. Both talents are applied to making dioramas - animated models powered by fractional horsepower motors. One model - a farmyard scene with more than fifty moving figures - took over six months to complete. The intricate maze of pulleys, wires and strings are the "nerves" and "muscles" of these wonderfull realistic models. [Location is Bourton-on-the-Water, Oxfordshire.]
