- Summary
- Pathe synopsis: A brief look at one of the ancient crafts of the northwest corner of the Emerald Isle itself. The famous Donegal tweed with its characteristic design, a speckled white with flecks of colour showing through, is reputed to have been inspired by the colour of the granite in the lovely hills of Donegal. Though the process, and sometimes the tools, of the craft have been handed down for centuries, modern machinery cannot match the skill of the individual craftsmen.
