Summary
Pathe synopsis: On show at this exhibition are lobomotives and coaches which are setting new stsandards of speed and comfort on British railways. One of the first products of the railways’ great re-equipment plan is the Deltic diesel-electric lovomotive, which can maintain a speed of 90 miles an hour. Both catering and comfort will be improved by the introduction of more of these new kitchen-buffet and restaurant-buffet cars, and carriages which have adjustable seats.
